Frogs
Frogs are either male or female and they reproduce sexually. Male frogs have testes attached to their kidneys and female frogs have ovaries which are beside the kidneys. The genital opening of both male and female frogs is called the cloaca. The sperm and the eggs pass through this opening. During mating, the male climbs on the female's back and wraps his limbs around her body. This position is called amplexus and may be held for a few days. The grip of the male frog stimulates the female to release the eggs. The eggs are then able to be fertilized by the sperm from the males cloaca.
